Decided to finally crank up the bikes for that run.....and found the note for the new Hima 450 pre-release demos on ADV last night

Couldn't find the bloody place for the missing signage at first, turned out to be the boldly labelled Indian shop-come-MCAS Accessories joint on Dandenong-Frankston Road.

What an absolute CRACKER at A$9k ride-away
USD forks, Stainless exhaust all through, 20mm seat height adjustment (plus multiple aftermarket seats, still lower/ Gel/scooped/whatever), screen, bashplate, ctr.stand, 3 ride modes, switchable ABS etc, full in-dash GPS, accessory power sockets, wire 21/17 wheels, rear rack, full LED lights....the list just goes on and on.

For those who don't like the weight of the front top-cage....just unbolt and get some crashbars instead. Plastic factory skid plate + exhaust header guard....junk all that for a one-piece alloy bashplate @$190

Bolt-on subframe, big-breadbox catalyzer (there's to 2-3kg to lose with an aftermarket solution.)

I once bought one of the last BULLET TRIALS that were ready to register in Germany because EU-emission standards went up. Thought I would buy a nice new oldtimer. Sold it after 4 weeks, it was obvious we would not become a loving couple.

Wasn't that a re-painted Bullet500?

That 450 Hima has a few decades of development and improvement on that Bullet....can't compare an old R60 with an R1200.

It even got the right ergos (the 411 didn't quite get there)
