Pre-digital prints from a cheap, borrowed, 2. hand Nikon SLR.
Found the old picture album and started to re-shoot some of the old prints....so the shitty, original quality is even worse now
But what the hell...the memories are still crisp and sharp even if the actors are definitely not.
This might become a "dribble" thread, re-shooting and uploading along the way takes a fair bit of time.
Times and dates are on most pics
In front of the Upper Fern Tree Gully Garage, about to hop on for the late Friday afternoon run to the Tas ferry at Port Melbourne.
Lambskin seat cover, ill-fitting TigerAngel leathers (made-to-measure, my arse!) and all...
Goodie and her grossly over-loaded GN250, a bike we bought locally through the "Trading Post" (remember that?).
Her re-entry into riding bikes (after owning+ travelling + commuting on tiny 50cc tiddlers in Europe previously).
Note the lace-up "bike boots", oops!
The FJ12 was a brandnew buy from Fern Tree Gully Yamaha on Burwood Hwy, a last-of-the-breed and dust-collector after I'd sold my R65 Monolever to a mate (how farken stupid can you be?)
A 4-pot just wasn't my kind of bike, ever....but you've gotta learn, eh? Big, heavy, bulletproof!
And as much soul as a rubber mallet.
Never fear though...it wasn't the first 4-pot and it wasn't going to be the last, some just die without ever learning anything...
PACKED?? Hell yeah!
Chockers at the docks...we had no idea the notorious Tas-Rally was on at the weekend!
Postie Trikes, booze everywhere and the little Tassie town of Railton was THUMPING!!
You really couldn't load up the little Zook any more!
Near Andy's Bakery, Westbury.
Andy's Bakery....Museum, Cafe, Caravan Park. Andy's Gelato, Andy's Public Toilets
.......maybe Andy's Post Office, Restaurant, knock-shop, library, cinema, bible society etc etc?
Tassie...ya gotta LUV IT!
