Exploring for the missing (Gmaps-) track.
At the top of Weibye Track, Mt. Wombat (tower) on the right, Euroa down the base of the center-gap.

Strain the eyes and there's the small, sharp cone of the Cathedrals pretty much in the center of the pic

Great spot for weary throttlejockeys or rockhoppers at the farm stay...any greener and they'd bottle it!

They even have the entertainment part sorted ;)

Saturday morning, looking out from Horan's Track. Magnificent.

Photo1.JPG

The sign wasn't at the other end.

Photo2.JPG

I'm glad the water wasn't over the floodway, not much to stop you going over.

Photo3.JPG

Notice the difference in dust between Marty and Pete, it was like that all weekend.

Photo4.JPG

Photo5.JPG

Sunday morning looking out of the chalet, ok, it was a unit at the back of a farm, great spot though.

Photo6.JPG

Don't mind spider webs outside.

Photo7.JPG

It had warmed up a bit, was 2 deg when I first ventured out.

There were supplies at the Mt. Terrible hut, you would have to be really hungry though I reckon.

Photo9.JPG

If you look closely, there is a really muddy spot at the bottom of the hill, just ask Marty how deep.

Photo10.JPG

Another great view, one of the few times Marty was eating dust.

Photo11.JPG

Had a little friend up at Mt. Buller.

Photo12.JPG

Guess who made the skidmark, and then complained he had a wet bum.

Photo13.JPG

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Photo14.JPG

This log cabin was being built just outside Jamieson, big money being spent. It looks like a model at first glance.

Photo15.JPG

Breakfast Monday morning, we made sure the salad rolls were tightly wrapped in glad wrap to avoid Saturday's lunch disaster.

This would have been an impressive house when in use at Gaffney's Creek (I think), along that road anyway.

Final chat at Noojee, not sure I want to know what was going on here.

Just up the road
PSX_20231010_092245.jpg

The floods had dumped a heap of clean sand on the river bank, turned out a brilliant spot for lunch. Even if the salad rolls had exploded
