Today's effort was on the outfit towards Yea. Not too cold till over Mt Slide and then a bit of fog and chilled down a bit more. We turned off towards Strath Creek, didn't get any warmer.
Lynne had her grips on, but her legs were really cold, hence the tarp.
Stopped at the bakery/coffee shop at Flowerdale. Nice toasted sangers and coffee.
Lynne went into the Op Shop opposite the bakery and picked up a couple of Pyrex pie dishes for $2 each we had been searching for and also a sleeping bag for $3 which she put around her legs on the way home through Whittlesea. Nice and warm. Good day had by all.

Pic of the Day - 12 months ago to the day, at the Heartbreak Hotel, locted in the "township" of McArthur, AKA Cape Crawford.

Sealed road (some very good, some very bad) except sections under upgrade and side tracks (up to 30km long) from the Stuart Highway to McArthur. Sealed road to Barkly Homestead (mostly shouse). The road south was about a 4m sealed, badly potholed, crap shoulders but with a 110km/h speed limit.
Some big rigs.
Some abandoned rigs (lots of these all over the Territory).
Yeah, 110km/h.
To the left of the pic, there's a landing strip, but not used for a while.
Great camping area out the back of the pub
We stayed a coupla nights, shoulda been more.

Another day in paradise.
Out through the Black Spur for the standard 50 kph dawdle.
Whanregarwen was a bit quicker across to Molesworth
Yea for lunch and then back home via Break ODay rd and through Chum Creek.
Sleeping bag acquired on the last ride for inside the tub proved invaluable as it was a little bit brisk this morning.
Good ride, about 250ks.
