Just a few from me.

Really nice day, very little dust, but roads were not too slippery.

Pete zooms past after checking out the local foxes.

Sorry, didn't get around to things last night.
Most of all though, a big thanks to Vic and Ian for an enjoyable day in the northern backblocks.
Nice to have a Strom along once again, too :)

Weather turned out as hoped, all good once beyond the bloody cold Kinglake ridge and into the green hills.
Still sorting through the pics.

Surprise! :2thumbs-up:

Some little Up & Downs around the back of Warrandyte under grey skies and the views across the Yarra Valley blocked out by fog and clouds added to the tip-toeing on wet/ damp asphalt and up the Kinglake Twisties.
Bloody cold, too....cold enough to change the plans and duck into the Flying Tarts for a hot drink to get some feel back into those fingers.
Then the first blue holes and sun- patches on the hillsides towards Flowerdale....time for a gravel-dabble to check conditions for the days' dirt engagement using the gravel from the Flowerdale Pub along King Parrot Creek.

I love that King Parrot Creek lane meandering along the hillsides of the valley towards Strath Creek, leaving the sweepers of the main road along the other side of the valley to those in a hurry.

Very happy to see a new Strath Creek Store/ Post Office/ Cafe etc in the making and planning to leave some $$ at the place once it's up and running (which shouldn't be too long).
No idea if they also plan to bring back the bowsers like the old store had. It's a GREAT spot as a staging post for all the gravel roads and State Parks/ Strathbogies etc.
