If it was a KTM I would suggest that there might have been a ute or a SUV with a trailer hidden somewhere close. :D

I saw him at the helipad on the way in, so there was no trailer back up. Couple of interesting shots on ADV with a R1150RT on it's side and another guy got stuck for 20 mins with the bike on top of him. I was riding by myself and took it really easy. Doesn't take much to ruin a good day.

"Good skills Ian" - I bet you are glad you honed them on the RE Himalayan ride the other day.

"I wouldn't be planning a Royal Enfield over-nighter there" - noted. I think some of the others have/are going there in October.

Anything is possible, you just take your time and take care. Road bikes were getting in without falling off.

Our mutual friend with the world's best GS 1200 outfit took (in the day) his LT 1200, trailer and pillion in there, so yes a capable rider will get a road bike in there. But despite OMF's encouragement, I WON"T be taking the Mighty ST in there, with or without trailer and / or pillion. A man's gotta know his limits.
