Chilly Ride!

As I had and appointment early this morning in Monegeeta, I took the opportunity to then head north and explore a few back roads around Romsey and Lancefield.

This road looked promising until it came to an abrupt end!!!! Oh well plenty of fun and
finally made it to Lancefield

Although I had the heated jacket working hard a warm cup of coffee at the usual Lancefield stop worked a treat

Not sure where to go next I decided on going straight over Cobaw Stat Forest on ridge road to Burke and Wills. Surprising few other vehicles around at this time

Not having much time left I shot across to Kilmore and up to Mt Dissapointment to Blair’s Hut for lunch. A busy spot as usual with hikers, hunters, and trial bikes!!!! Only 8 degrees and was 12:30PM Brrrrrr. A quick lunch

Just to get a bit more dirt I couldn’t resist Ridge Road, Yan Yean. Always a great bit of road

Has been a while since I have been out so these 200ish Kms were just what I needed

Goodonya for shivering for the lot of us....and envy for the rest of it
How are those hoops holding up?

Cheers Pete
Really happy with the EO7+. They have performed well and I have built up plenty of confidence off road with them. They do well in asphalt as well. About a month ago I did a 450 km ride ,100% asphalt and although a bit noisy, not uncomfortable at all

I layered up last week and was quite toasty.

Thermal base layer, t-shirt, down jacket then Goretex bike jacket.
Neck sock helped heaps too.

I think the worst was the fogging up as the rain got heavier really.
