Mainly for the T3 crew....Tassie Dave had ALL his video stuff transferred to scene-by-scene-files by someone in Hobart and copied onto a HardDrive, which he passed on to me at Lake Leake.
Haven't had time to look at it for weeks but started a few days ago.
Yes, I know... who can forget Dave's Movie Nights (without the popcorn) at the Hotel Milan in where-the-hell-was-it???....France somewhere...near Alpe-d'Huez... another night where everyone went to sleep while he was enthusiastically yabbering and giggling about his own comments-on-tape....Oh, sweet Jeezaz
....
Whatever....got about 5-7hrs worth of movie-clips, one take at a time.
Since they're in a weird, proprietary .mts movie format, I got onto a freebie-joiner app to join all those takes into a single "day-file" then joining those day-files into 25-35min compilations.
It all works fine with the free Media Player Classic and the full codec pack installed under Windows (google, download, install), speech/ grafix sync is perfect and no visible hiccups on the scene-changeovers.
Who ever wants either the raw .mts files, scene-by scene....the daily compilations...or the compiled 2-3 day, 25-35min runtime files....shoot me a portable harddrive/ big-sized memory card or the like.
I'll convert the .mts files into full-res mp4 format, but that actually blows out a 2.4gig mts to a 3.4gig mp4 as the .mts format is highly compressed.
If you want the raw files, daily-joined, 2-3day joined and MP4 versions you'll be looking at around the 250gig+ (space required.)
All shots are 1080x 1440 full HD.
