Just saw your post re: Shinko 705's on the Ten...you guys also had an importer of the even more dirt-capable copy of that , the Full Bore M-40rear/ 41 front.
Those guys used to import them into NZ http://motozone.nz/tyres
Never knew they existed until I had one of Hakan's XT660 rentals with a rear M41....loved the thing every bit of the 6000km South Island ride, but not imported into AUS. :-((
No surprise...it's the best 'dirt'-hoop for a road-tyre I've ever come across.
We used to get them (rears!!) for about A$100 each incl. freight from the US when the A$/NZ$ were flying high around 2010-2015 and we bought them a dozen at a time.
