The bakery in Mirboo North was the same building as the first Australasian bank in the district.

Then the next day we decided to go to Wilsons Prom because A) It was only 40 kms away :bs and B) I'd never been there. And sure enough some of the views were awesome. A bit like GOR

Another good one in the bag. I have now ridden 10,000 kms on the Strom and going strong. Couldn't be happier making the switch from the sheer buffoonery on supersports...

Looks and sounds like a good weekend, sorry we missed it.
:poo:

Didn't miss the Grand Ridge Brewery though. Mrs W and I, and some other friends (from Jack River) dropped in for Sunday lunch and a few beers.

Service was slow, very slow. Food was just okay.

Beers were good, very good - the Gippsland Gold, the Yarra Valley Gold, the Shirt Lifter Stout, the Moonshine.
:scull::chug::scull::chug:

The ride back to Jack River was forgettable, well I don't remember much 'cause I was asleep in the back seat.

Sounds like you got the full Grand Ridge Brewery experience. They seem stuck in a bit of a time warp.

Had a great time there Saturday night but have to say the newer breweries (someone day the Bullant....?) leave them for dead.
