28-300..... covers most things, 5 axis stabilisation for low light goodness.

Ahhh yeah the price is steep, however you'd blow that much on an 18 hr flight to Europe.

The camera should last a little longer... :bt

Eivind had no trouble at all landing the drone W-)

Jokes aside...saw that on Gmaps too and it's still got me baffled as there's no way to even land/ start a Cessna on the bumpy grass track on top of the embankment/ dam.


Y'all too busy looking at the trees and ignoring the forest. Only ultralights use the lakebed. Light aircraft use the 4,000' dirt strip south of the town.

One thing I found with cameras is that zoom is overrated, hard to use and not all that useful when taking general landscapy shots.

I use it a lot...and don't find it hard to use on the FZ100, even with gloves on.
