So, I hope you got a photo at Dogs Grave. I spent a while looking for it in November with no luck.

I'm sure, Marty'll have the odd shot.
If not, there are a few here.
Love that Birregun Rd....what a place up there!!:glu

First up a quick THANK YOU to all to rocked up for the weekend.

AWESOME!! :clap::clap:

Numbers came to around-about 35 or so....and by the looks and sounds of it, everyone enjoyed themthelves.

Hope, all made it home safely (some will still be on the road...like "Unlucky"-Don....or the SA contingent, who have another few days up their sleeves).

Made it home around 6ish last night....and pretty much knackered after the last 5 days of fantastic company, even better riding, superb scenery, some stunning dirt-bits, Alpine Twisties to make the heart sing and FUN FUN FUN!!

Even had the WTF jumping with joy!!

LOTS more to come later....

there is a photo of it in my ride report from xmas here
If you didn't find it you mustn't have been on the right road. There are two entrances to the campsite and both are well signposted. It was on the Berrigin Road about 15km from Livingstone. The position its marked on the Hema Atlas is relatively accurate.

 What can I say! fantastic weekend.

Thanks to those who did all the organising for the entire weekend and those who contributed their road knowledge and lead and TEC'd each day's ride. Thanks to Tim also for volunteering to go TEC through the Omeo—Falls Creek leg...at least he had time to take in the scenery

I loved that we rode lots yet still had time for quick regroups and chat. I loved that there was still socialising to be had after the ride. I loved the cohesiveness of the majority of the group even tho some of us had never ridden together before and especially the flexibility of the route to allow for the road bikes (me espesh ). I loved that I was made so welcome despite not being on a strom. Hmmm....I think I loved everything about the weekend

I picked up some good hints and got to put them into practice on the ride home...I feel like I've now moved out of the plateau I've been stuck on and into another learning curve.

It was great to meet you all and count me in for the next one!

cheers
linda

23/1 The bitumen group—waiting at Omeo for Stewy to catch up  ... and he did!

this just tickled my fancy—lunch stop at Adaminaby

The surreal landscape at Falls Creek—breathtaking. Someone suggested almost lunar. I wish this picture did it justice.

Parked at Moe for lunch and a stock red SV parked beside my bluey. Given the number of stroms, it was pretty good to see a grand total of 4 esvee's on the ride!

Don made it to Canberra, he's currently staying at my place after I picked him up, shoved his bike on the trailer then dumped it at the bike shop to get repaired. Might be a stator or regulator, we'll find out today.

His on his courtesy bike, an old GS500 :endutouring around Canberra.

RIGHTO!!

The as yet unknown-to-us route from Glenaladale-Wuk Wuk-Calulu-Wy Yung and northern Bairnsdale Bypass worked a treat….interesting little country roads, a patchwork of asphalt, old timber bridges and a rolling landscape got us into Bruthen sooner than hoped for, this route is poolroom-stuff!

Not long after, Adam (Stewy) showed up…arghhhh!
Hope that hoop was CHEAP!!?? :bs

How much gear can you strap to a KiloGixx? Tim reckons, about 3-4ft vertical is just right.

A dob of grease here, a liter of oil there…mates for a quarter-century thus far…

Into the fog and drizzle…and up the Barry Way….the Seldom Seen servo is BACK ! :so
YES, they do pump fuel !!! (if they haven’t "pumped rum" the night before…or blew up the dunny, or some other “little mishap” happened recently)

Then the never-ending rollercoaster along the upper reaches of the Snowy River…the countryside just leaves you stumped….as does the road.

Sometimes wide and quick, then narrow with sharp dips and crests… needless to say, we’re having a ball. Dave (Farawayman) on the BIG MOMMA!
