[STICKY]My Pic Of The Day

Whatever, there was also a guy along on a ?GS12/TDM/SuperTen? we'd met in Bright...never seen or heard of again.

That was year one. 2012. Same year as the pic above and the ones below but we just did Cowwar/Tyers/Old Sale Road and I think Noojee home from Dargo.

Stopped at Cowwar for lunch, then Tyers. That was the last time we saw the US guy.

Over in Tassie at the moment.
Stayed at Bridport, Bicheno, just got to Snug. Weather has been fantastic, starting to rain a bit tonight. Was going to Bruny island, but they want $50 for the ferry. Rather spend it on fuel down to cockle creek and a nice lunch. Will post more photos when we get home.

Rest day yesterday, it rained on and off most of the day anyway. Went to Cape Portland last week, hoped to get to Cockle Creek today, but only got as far as Southport. Close enough. Weather was cool, but very nice. Strathgordon tomorrow. Thanks for the tip to go to Mt Barrow, Pete, excellent, but a bit scary.

Good going.
Love that part of Tassie, you're up for Alpine-type landscapes and long, quick sweepers.
Don't miss the short in/ out of the Ironblow Lookout and the ghost-town of Gormanston (finally abandoned in the 50' or 60s, the historic nemesis of Queenstown.
