Slow train on the Tourist trail

While most of you lot have been tearing up the countryside on 2 wheels. I've been doing the honourable family thing and soaking up Victorias tourist attractions.
At a whopping 15 km, we chanced our souls aboard the iconic Puffing Billy!

Quick stop at Menzies Creek



Then on to Lakeside, which was our picnic stop.

After arriving at Lakeside, there's some floaty bikes to play on. Unfortunately I couldn't use them as they involved over exersion, and I already had a headache from the previous evening.



Luckily there's other forms of entertainment, and for a small fee you can have a look at the model railway.









After about 2 hours at lakeside, it's time for the journey home
All in all an enjoyable slow day out.

That model railway is really something, isn't it? Been there a few years ago and wasn't aware that they were still operating.

Gotta go back to that model railway place one day...that was truly stunning even 20 years ago.
A 4bedroom log cabin/ house chockers full of the stuff.
