Cheers for the comments gents.
Farawayman, those lights don’t affect the milage at all, deys be those super flash HID lights, with the price tag to boot! (even at my price).
I find the big brute a tad difficult on loose gravel type tracks, the dam thing just skates wherever it wants to. anything slippery and it just wants to lose the front end all the time and a few times going in and back out i was questioning my sanity! I was hoping to have another crack at getting thru this weekend, but the amount of rain we have had this week again counts that idea out, getting thru there now will be requiring on of those hovercraft thingys that they use in the swamps....
I darsay knobbies would make handling much better, one day i'll find out if i can get tires to fit...
My 600 bandit is much nicer of road. If i can put some cash together i'm wanting to pick up a DR650, it doesnt have to be in brillant shape as long as the motor and box are ok, doing a bit of work to it to get it registered isnt a problem.
