Perfect machines (CT110 or dual ratio CT90) for these two tracks Pete

Like for so many tracks one wouldn't take a "Pig" on...another thing I love about the CT's.

That'll be me. We are hoping the weather comes good as it will be a real challenge if its wet.

 Well, hello then! Good to see you here, too.

.... who've done Kiwi & Moki Roads - among our best large bike friendly adventure riding in my view

Kiwi + Moki in the 'naki, you mean? (there are a few of those around)

Checking Gmaps, there's even the streetview function available for most of the length of those, meaning the Google-folks have been up there with their SUV's and cameras.

Only been up the Okau (mostly tar) and the Mangapapa/southern Moki to the 43 (good, quick gravel)

Pete - reading your various RR's you've done a lot of NZ I can see - yip I was referring to the 'naki (Taranaki) - cheers Stephen

Long Timer
Neil is talking about January for Fischers and 42 again. Not sure the DL will be doing 42 again - that was a workout. A postie-bike would be ideal. Colin had the idea - pinching his wife's XT250...

I think you'll find some links to my blogs on 42 etc and then also the 'naki tunnels in my "pootle" thread.
