Worked out last night what needed to be done to the sidecar, Lynne left for work, it is not raining, I am off by 7am. A bit foggy, but that will clear when the sun comes out, right?

Acheron Way, towards the burbs, I can see why it is foggy.

Still foggy, there was a sign from the council saying they had treated the road. I think is was with really slippery stuff.

Wandered along through the fog, onto Quartz Creek (?) rd, came across a road closed due to logging sign. They wont be working today, will they?

He was using a drone to film the logging. Nice bloke, we chatted for about 5 mins whilst they cleared some trees near the road, then radioed ahead for me to go through.

Lots of people camped at Rubicon, so I continued to the rest stop.

The cafe was only serving flat white with cheese and biscuits.

Nice outlook though.

Across to Toolangi, then home by 1pm. Good day. And I fixed the sidecar and watched the footy in the afternoon (after a nap).

Long Timer
After a nap?

A nap is a short period of sleep, typically taken between the hours of 9am and 9pm as an adjunct to the usual nocturnal sleep period. Naps are most often taken as a response to drowsiness during waking hours. A nap is a form of biphasic or polyphasic sleep, where the latter terms also include longer periods of sleep in addition to one single period.

Acheron sure looks like a skidpan...Quartz Creek looks ok (if it was that?)
Tom Burns Track veers of that.
Did you get from the north or south into that Rubicon Historical area?

Looks like you picked the best part of the day...

Quartz Creek rd off Blue Range Rd, then Royston River Rd. I will leave Tom Burns till next time. Rubicon River rd has a small creek crossing I think. About 300 mm deep last time in summer. Left that one alone too.
