There's that grin again! German lunch at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills
On a ferry across the mouth (eheem - that should properly be termed the "arse") of the Murray River
The giant lobster in Kingston S.E. Golden hour is upon us - will be make it to Robe before dark?
Answer was no! Despite Dougie going like the clappers, it was properly dark before we arrived at the camp-site. No manager on duty, so we called the number on the note on the door. No one picks up. What does one do? Help ourselves and sort it out in the morning. This picture is in the morning - still no-one around interested in getting any money from 2 weary travellers, now keen on getting going, so what does one do? I'll leave that to your imagination.....
This gorgeous labradoodle, kept a watchful eye on breakfast proceedings in Beachport.
Swung past the Blue Lake in Mount Gambier. This is the Big one - sorry John - no time to search for the little one....
And that's it for pictures - we slabbed it back to Melbourne via Digby and Hamilton, resisting the lure of the Grampians on the Northern Horizon as we stopped for lunch in Dunkeld. 6 days of sensational riding, rivalling some of the best places I've visited on two wheels. Sensational company, brilliant weather and not a hickup from either bike. Let's do it again at springtime for the flowers next time around! Anybody else wants to come along?
