A little bit of NZ

banditrider

Long Timer
Banditrider doesn't stay stopped for long, so I was lucky to snap this pic. Those boys now how to hustle on the gravel roads!!

Pretty sure I never broke the speed limit...that would be naughty...

Great meeting you chaps and showing ya some of the backyard. We even stopped somewhere I never have before...(top of the Makuri).

We split from Bandit rider and his mate on the GS 800 and headed for Greytown. Gerard stayed with us until we hit town and were in our accom.

Gerard's trusty BMW 1150

Quaint little Church on the way.

The obligatory soda stop on the way into town. The Gladstone Inn on the banks of the Ruamahunga river.

It was a nice spot, and I was developing quite a taste for the wide range of Soda's in NZ

I didn't get any Pic's around Greytown, it was a nice spot and the Sunday was 25 deg and sunny. Here's a pic of someones dinner, just so you know how hard life on the road can be sometimes.

I mean look, a Quinoa salad or something... eww! :bs

We set off on the Monday morning, heading for Taihape. And as luck would have it, about 12k out of Pahiatua Ant had a flat.

The roadside was scoured for props, and the wheel was off and we were on our way to Pahiatua Honda. Who dropped everything to do a race repair to get us on our way. $68 later, a new tube and we were back to install within about 90 mins.

Oh your poor person no wonder that you drink weasel piss instead of beer.

That's a BLOODY INSULT!!
To the weasel!

Only beaten by that DB Double Brown we had as a welcome-freebie at the Taihape Motel.:doh:
The can it came it had more taste than the contents....perfect for watering that plastic office cactus.
Who ever drinks that crap...deserves it. Who ever makes it, should drown in their own shit.
