A lot of Aussie fall into the trap of thinking that the posted price is what diesel costs in NZ and get all excited.

Mmmm ...... the cost for a Ford Ranger (which averages approx. 10L / 100km) would increase by the equivalent of $0.68 per litre

We met up with Gerard, on his trusty BMW 1150 gs Plus Banditrider on the Tenere 1200, and his mate on a new 800 GS

It was a cracker morning too!

Nice sweeping bends and good gravel

Nice spot eh. Castlepoint Beach

A house on the hill would do!

Banditrider doesn't stay stopped for long, so I was lucky to snap this pic. Those boys know how to hustle on the gravel roads!!

It was nice to be here!

A bit more global warming and the beach and the road will become one!
