Dargo Rally 2017

Squizzy

Long Timer
This year the rally was changed to Angusvale at the last minute due to road closure issues. No biggy. Great spot. Decided to give the GS its first rally experience. Fitted a toolbox as the tub was being painted and it seemed like a good idea as well.

South Face Rd had minimal snow, but some nice views.

Stopped at Cowarr for lunch then into the rally site. Toolbox paid for itself as a wallaby jumped out of nowhere and into the side, by the time I was stopped (only doing about 30ks) he jumped onto the top then gone. Glad I was wearing brown pants.

Rest of the journey in was pleasant. Toolbox allowed for a few extra luxuries.

If anyone is after a well set up outfit, it might be worth giving Phyllis a call. I think he is looking at selling, only done 8000k.

Lots of interesting bikes, but I reckon this takes the prize. 996 SPS Ducati, stolen, found at the tip. Just engine, frame, computer and swingarm. Purchased for a measley amount, taken off the stolen register and the rest is history. It went quite well I was lead to believe. I was not game.

I knew my toolbox was too small.

Sunday morning was bloody cold, but at least it was not raining.

All in all a good weekend.

Is that a "Toolbox" or a "SLAB" holder?

You probably wouldn't have put much ice in it last weekend.

Great weekend by the looks of it. :chug:
