Spot the Buzzard... well, Wedge Tailed Eagle.

He didn't wish to become aquainted. His interest was firmly on the road kill that lay out in the mid afternoon sun.

A very happy Africa Twin owner, with good reason too. Probably only used about $20 more fuel over the XT for the duration of our trip.

Here's the only bit of green lawn in the district. It's plastic too!!
Looked like a fair place to stop and have a drink.

Back at camp in Angorachina
Best to have a good mattress here... the ground is a little hard.

There are some very big DUCKS in the Flinders Ranges. They don't fly, but man can they run

"Parmageddon"

Out of all the 100's of bikes and cars on display - this is my absolute favorite! A joint venture project between a motorbike dealer in Adelaide and a burgeoning Yamaha in Japan produced this gem called Liberty Ranch Model. Pete - if I find one in a barn somewhere, will you help restoring it?

You're on!! :glu What a beauty!!

Some damn sweet shots there and I had no idea the Birdwood joint was THAT big!
What a picture show :chug:

We're setting out to ride the Public Access Road which is situated in the Glass Gorge.
My phone was chucking a hissy fit, hence the bendy sign. Or was it my eyes?
Damn that red wine! :scull:

A section of the public access road.
4wd only. There were parts that you'd need the ground clearance of a bigger 4wd. A soft roader wouldn't cut it.

The bad weather was driving us insane. Day after day of no clouds. Mid 20's.

All of these gorges were running through river beds.
Here is one of them... Eivind in the distance. Soft, loamy stones but easy enough. :woot::woot::glu

I can imagine a flash flood sweeping down this river bed...just not today!

Lets shut the gate on that one then... Magic!!
