Having collected the new V2 and chucked on a few farkles, we needed to "break her in" . Queen Mary Falls drive (posted previously) and across to Warwick and Texas QLD with friends made for a great foundation :)

A few pics taken atop QMF road

Ange and Hugh chaperoned us with their V's ;)

V's at rest in Warwick

Lots of grand architecture in Warwick

Looking down the main drag (distant view)

We stayed Saturday night in Warwick and rode over to Texas via Stanthorpe ,Storm King Dam, Ballandeen Wineries) and then back up to Stanthorpe and across on the Texas Stanthorpe road.
LOTS of road kill.

We stayed in the motel attatched to the Stockman Hotel. A feed in the pub on take away pizzas from up the road, beers and the NRL grand final provided for a spirited night.

Upon arrival at the Hotel

Girls posing ;)

Undercover parking :)

Outdoor area adjoining the back of the pub

Trusty steed after 600ks (and no sore arses!)

We,ve had them for a couple of years, done plenty of trips - one a few weeks and 5500 ks , and probably 20,000 ks use so far.:) we stuff them with the usual and also beers and wine! so they take a bit of weight!
Despite their modest cost they have not let us down. We fit the rain covers always to keep out dust and exhaust etc and they have remained suitably water tight under "normal" conditions :)
Strangely there always seems to be just enough room for "extras" that accumulate on trips ;)
(usually wine! , and occasionally, if i havent been trying hard enough, left over beers :( ,shedded clothing etc) ;) eg jacket liners.

Great loop by the looks of it...but three V2's in one place really are a bit much.:bt :bees:
