This was a great weekender. Leaving Tullamarine at 9 am for Harrow (via the Grampians) in Western Victoria.

Zoom Zoom, first stop Malmsbury. And as you can see, there was a terrible drought! Until Saturday morning.

The bikes waiting patiently for the rain to abate.

The further west we travelled the sunnier it was.

OI000112-X2.jpg

Quick stop in Balmoral before heading into Harrow.

Made it. Big Rob making the place look like it was built for Hobbits.

A cosy little place actually!

And if you ever heard an 1190 EBR with a straight exhaust, then you'd understand completely this T shirt.

So after a hearty dinner, we set off to explore the tiny Township.

Only 1 horsepower, pretty bloody useless really!

OI000108-X2.jpg

Well it's not a Bills horse trough, old enough though!

OI000118-X2.jpg

Everything was closed.

OI000103-X2.jpg

I think this cart is still waiting for passengers.

I thoughtfully started to mix my drinks. Seemed ok at the time!

OI000095-X2.jpg

A quick tour of the breakfast dining area.

OI000094-X2.jpg

Then it was lights out for me.

OI000122-X2.jpg

We went home via the Grampians, no pics though as we were travelling at the speed limit and only stopped for food and fuel.

Morning Tea at Stawell.

Proposed Lunch at Talbot, but the cafe was shut!

Then on to Woodend for a feast, before heading home.

Thanks to Colin from the Open Road Tourers for leading the ride.

The Frosty Frolic began in the valley a good few hours before the Melbourne crew.

Lisa didn't seem too happy with Colin's choice of dirt roads :killingme

Back to the black stuff.

Colin says he was outriding the GPS so it only gave the "turn here" command...

P1090137-XL.jpg

Into Harrow for the night. Approx. 700km for me for the day.

A bit of a traffic jam for fuel in Balmoral.

P1090146-XL.jpg

While some simply loitered impatiently complaining about bikes with small fuel ranges....:bs

P1090147-XL.jpg

Seems all roads out west lead to Halls Gap.
